This project leveraged data visualization as a universal language to simplify complex information, enabling clear communication, fostering understanding, and supporting informed decision-making. The target audience—18-24-year-old Americans in Gen Z—presented both a fascinating and challenging dynamic. This generation values authenticity and balanced perspectives over stereotypes, making it essential to craft content that resonates on a deeper level.

Through thoughtful and purposeful design, the project aimed to present data-driven insights that not only engage but also inspire genuine connection and meaningful action within this unique demographic.

The Power of Change

Gen Z, Millennials, and the $30 Trillion Opportunity

As millennials and Gen Z inherit $30 trillion—the largest wealth transfer in history—they face the challenge of using this financial power to address pressing issues like climate change, inequality, and political instability. My project focuses on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing as a key solution, guiding the next generation toward impactful and ethical financial decisions.

By connecting ESG principles to trade, automotive innovation, and climate solutions, this direction highlights how purposeful investments can drive stronger returns, business transparency, and long-term sustainability. The goal is to empower Gen Z to embrace adaptability, make informed choices, and lead a transformative shift toward a more equitable future.

Harris' Policy Focus: Trade, Climate, and Electric Vehicles

Harris’ approach underscores a strategic blend of economic, environmental, and technological priorities to address key challenges and foster progress.

Trump’s approach prioritizes economic protectionism, deregulation, and traditional energy industries, with a strong focus on maintaining jobs and reshaping trade policies.

Tarot Meets Politics: A Storytelling Approach to Leadership and Policy

After analyzing the data on the two leaders and their policies, I crafted this design narrative using storytelling to connect more meaningfully with my audience—Tarot readers.

By incorporating Tarot readings, I offered neutral interpretations of both candidates, highlighting their positions within their parties and their approaches to similar issues. While the readings showcased their differences, they also uncovered shared commonalities. This balanced approach ensured consistent and clear messaging, seamlessly blending data analysis with creative storytelling. The visual and verbal exploration of the cards provided an engaging and thought-provoking representation of the information.

Climate's Hidden Mask

Climate's Hidden Mask

Unmasking Climate Truths

My masks expose the hidden realities of climate change, countering the illusion that "everything is fine." They focus on the devastation of coral reefs, melting ice caps, agricultural strain, and the environmental toll of trade and waste. Each mask symbolizes cracks in our fragile world—water scarcity, a crumbling Earth—reminding us that the truth can no longer be ignored.

Masks of Trade: Greed and Power Unveiled

My trade-themed masks merge the bull and bear—symbols of the financial system—with the wolf, embodying Wall Street's predatory nature. Intricate designs weave these creatures together, representing greed, hidden agendas, and the wealth hoarded by leaders. The result is a mask that subtly reflects the complex, unsettling dynamics of trade.

Masked in Gear: EVs and the Road Ahead

My EV mask series explores the tension and synergy between electric innovation and traditional gas-powered machinery. Crafted from components of both, the masks symbolize the transition between past and future mobility, capturing the forces driving change in the automotive industry and everyday transportation.

The Tarot readings reveal unbiased insights into Trump and Harris, showcasing their stances on energy, trade, and economic policies. While Trump emphasizes preserving traditional industries through tariffs, fossil fuels, and protectionist measures, Harris focuses on clean energy, EV growth, and fair trade policies that prioritize environmental and labor standards. Both view energy as crucial to the U.S. economy and global leadership, though Trump highlights fossil fuel dominance while Harris advocates for renewable energy innovation. On trade, Trump favors confrontation and bilateral deals, while Harris supports multilateral agreements and targeted collaboration to address global challenges. Despite their differing approaches, both share a commitment to protecting American workers and strengthening the U.S. economy.
